Dashboard (tiles)

The dashboard is the first tab of every app section: tiles with the number of records counted by ready-made conditions. In the video, they are explained using deals as an example, but they work the same way everywhere. Only the content of the tiles changes.
What you can do
- Open a list from a tile
- Build your own tile
- Show website statistics from Google Analytics
- Understand what ended up in "Forgotten"
- Create a filter with your own conditions
Tiles
The top menu of a section consists of the Dashboard, List, and Charts tabs. In some sections, their own tabs are added, for example Funnel in deals. The "Dashboard" tab opens first.
Each tile is a criterion and the number of records that match it. Clicking a tile opens the "List" tab filtered by that criterion: there is no need to set the conditions separately.
Note
The set of tiles is tied to the section: deals have their own, and finance has its own. The only thing they share is the principle: a criterion, the number of records, and a jump to the filtered list.
Your own tile
The set is not limited to the ready-made indicators. The Another filter tile (in Finance, the ➕ button) creates your own selection condition, and it lines up with the rest.
Conditions are set the same way as in the section's regular filters: database section, field, comparison operator, and the AND / OR connector. A detailed breakdown of the operators and the "Available to everyone" toggle is in the Filters section.
Web analytics on the dashboard
Next to the tiles, you can display website traffic statistics from Google Analytics: the web analytics widget with a daily figure and a chart of web analytics by month.
First, connect your website property: Settings → Marketing → Google Analytics. For details, see Connecting Google Analytics. Then:
- Open the Dashboard tab of the section you need.
- Click the eye button Edit dashboard in the upper-right corner.
- Check the web analytics widget. It appears under the tiles.
- In the widget, select the metric and the period.
You select the metric in the widget's drop-down list:
| Metric | What is counted |
|---|---|
| Visitors | Unique website visitors for the period |
| Visits | Sessions on the website: one visitor can make several visits |
| Views | Website page views |
| New | Visitors who came to the website for the first time during the period |
The message "Select a counter in the dashboard settings" means that a website property has not been selected yet or is not connected in the marketing settings.
Forgotten
The Forgotten tile exists in several sections, and it means something different in each:
| Section | What ends up in "Forgotten" |
|---|---|
| Clients | Companies that have no tasks scheduled for a future period. Not all of them are tracked, only certain client types. The list is set in the directories |
| Tasks | Tasks whose due date has passed. They can be moved to another date or assigned to another employee |
| Deals | Deals whose completion date has passed. They can be checked and moved to the current or a future date |
| Documents | Documents whose date in the Valid until field has passed, and only those with the forgotten-tracking toggle turned on |
Dashboard in the sections
The content of the tiles is different for each module. See the section you are working with:
| Section | Dashboard |
|---|---|
| Clients | Customers, partners, and other client types, forgotten companies |
| Tasks | Tasks by due date and assignee, forgotten tasks |
| Deals | Deals by stage and amount, forgotten deals |
| Activity log | Employee activities over a period; the data is shown according to the access rights level |
| Documents | Documents by stage and type |
| Finance | Income, expenses, and transfers; your own tile via the ➕ button |
Tip
The dashboard answers the question "how many", and the charts answer the question "how it changed". If you need a breakdown by time or by employee, go to the "Charts" tab of the same section.
