Signing in to WorkZeal and recovering a password
- Find out how exactly you should sign in: with or without FreshID
- Recover a forgotten password
- Figure out why the email does not arrive
- Sign in using an invitation link from a colleague
Sign-in methods
WorkZeal has two authorization methods: standard sign-in and sign-in via SSO with FreshID. One method is chosen for the whole company, and an employee cannot change it.
| Standard sign-in | Sign-in via SSO with FreshID | |
|---|---|---|
| What to enter | Login and password | The company's FreshID, login, and password |
| Login | Your email. The account owner enters it when registering for the trial period, and for employees it is entered when adding a user | Unique only within your company |
| Who it suits | Most companies: this method is enabled by default | Companies that need additional access control: you cannot sign in without the company identifier |
Note
To find out which sign-in method your company uses and what its FreshID is, ask your manager or the employee who set up your company's work in WorkZeal.
Where the sign-in method is configured
The sign-in method is changed by a user with full access rights: Settings → Users → the Sign-in settings tile. In the System sign-in settings (Single sign-On) window:
- the Use the FreshID identifier to sign in toggle is off: standard sign-in is in effect;
- the toggle is on: sign-in via SSO with FreshID is in effect. The company number is shown in the heading of the second block: Your company's FreshID identifier.
The description of standard sign-in in the window also mentions signing in with a Google account. This option is disabled.

Forgot your password
You recover the password on the sign-in page. There is no need to contact support for this.
- Open login.workzeal.com.
- If sign-in with FreshID is enabled in your company, enter the FreshID.
- Enter your login.
- In the password field, click Remind.
A sign-in email will be sent to the email address linked to your account.
The email does not arrive
Check your "Spam" folder. If the email is not there either, most likely incoming messages from the no-reply@workzeal.com address are being blocked by your company's mail server or by your personal filter. This is the system address WorkZeal sends notifications from: ask your system administrator to allow messages from it.
Invitation link from a colleague
If you cannot recover the password, ask a colleague with full access rights to send you a new invitation link. They will get it in your user card, on the Invitation tab. How to do this is described in the Users article. The link will come to you by email or in a messenger: follow it to sign in to the system.
Warning
WorkZeal support cannot change the password for you: it has no access to customer accounts. Do not send your password to anyone, including the support chat. If you contact us about a sign-in problem, describe what exactly is not working and send the text of the error message.
