Telephony

Practically any virtual IP telephony provider can be connected to WorkZeal. The integration is free; you pay your provider for the calls. All you need to connect is the SIP details from your provider's account.
Choosing a provider
Every region has its own providers with competitive local rates, and you can connect any of them.
Step 1. Add a line
Open Settings — Phone and click Add. The line parameters come from your provider's account.

| No. | Field | What to enter |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | User | the employee the line is assigned to |
| 2 | Server address | the domain issued by your provider |
| 3 | SIP account | the line login, without the @ sign and the server address after it. With Mango, for example, you enter only the part before @ |
| 4 | Password | the line password |
| 5 | Proxy | fill in only if your provider sent you this address; otherwise leave it empty |
One user can have one SIP account connected. If a company has three numbers for incoming calls, they are distributed among three employees, one line each.
Step 2. Allow the microphone
Warning
Your browser must be granted permission to use the microphone for the WorkZeal site. Without it, telephony will not work.
How to grant permission is described on the Microphone permission page.
Step 3. Make calls
A call starts from the client card, either by the handset icon next to a contact person or from the side panel, which opens the dialer and the call history.

Call recordings are stored in the activity log of the client card and in the company's shared activity log.
