Contacts
A client's contact persons live on the Contacts tab of its card. There is no limit on their number: add everyone you communicate with.
You can view them in two ways, as a list and as blocks. You can write an email, send an SMS, or make a call from either view.

The contact card stores the full name, phone numbers, email address, job title, status, and date of birth. The Job title and Status fields are directories that you can customize: Standard directories.
Primary contact
One of the contact persons can be marked as primary. Such a contact gets a star, moves to the top of the list, and appears in the field on the main tab of the client card.
Warning
The primary contact takes part in automation: all notifications defined in scenarios go to them first. If no primary contact is set in the card, all of the client's contact persons receive the notifications.
Birthday greetings
If the Date of birth field is filled in for a contact person, you do not have to keep birthdays in mind: WorkZeal creates a task on the right day, and automation takes care of sending an email or SMS. Prepare a greeting card for the email, some warm words, or a short text for the SMS in advance; the system does the rest.

How to set it up:
- Open any client card, go to the Contacts tab, and turn on the Send birthday greetings to everyone toggle.
- Choose the type of task to be created when the date arrives. If the type you need does not exist, create it first and then select it from the list.
- Add a couple of lines to the task description so employees understand the task is automatic and can see its purpose.
This setting is global: it applies to all contact persons in your database, not to a single client. The system checks the dates once a day, in the morning.
Tip
Name the task type so that it is self-explanatory in the list: "Greeting", "Birthday", "Day X".
What exactly the client receives, an email from a template, an SMS, or something else, is configured in the Automation section.
