AI assistant
WorkZeal has two AI assistants: Lucy helps you with texts inside the app, and Helper answers your customers in chat. Helper is currently in development, but you can already see it in action: we named our own Helper Zeela, and she answers questions about working in WorkZeal itself.
Lucy
![]()
Lucy is your secretary in WorkZeal. She is always at hand: the ✨ button in the top bar. To find out where the button is, see the Quick start section.
| What she can do | How it works |
|---|---|
| Translates | Write in your own language, and Lucy will translate it into any language in the world as if a native speaker had written it |
| Improves text | Makes text clear and tidy in emails, deals, tasks, and chats |
| Searches the internet | Works with popular AI models: answers your question and gathers information from the web |
In the message editor, Lucy is opened with the AI button on the toolbar: select a fragment and choose a ready-made prompt. For details, see the Write a message section.
Note
Lucy answers work-related questions, but does not advise on how WorkZeal itself works. Zeela is there for that.
Helper

Note
Helper is in development. You can already see it in action by looking at Zeela: she is our own Helper, connected to the WorkZeal help center. Your Helper will do the same for your customers, from your materials and under the name you give it.
Helper works in the chat with customers and answers questions about your products and services in seconds, at any time of day. It answers from documents, not from memory: it first finds the relevant fragments in the connected knowledge base and answers only from them. This approach is called RAG, retrieval-augmented generation.
"Helper" is the name of a type of assistant, not a personal name. You will name your own assistant yourself, choosing the name your customers will know it by. We named ours Zeela.
- You connect the sources: a help center, external services, and files such as price lists, policies, and catalogs.
- Helper looks for the answer: it finds the relevant fragment by the meaning of the question, not by matching words.
- It answers the customer: briefly, clearly, and strictly within the knowledge base.
| Feature | What it means |
|---|---|
| Knows your product range | Takes prices, availability, lead times, terms, and specifications from your materials |
| Does not make things up | The model is not fine-tuned on your data, so the answers never diverge from the documents |
| Searches by meaning | For the question "how long to ship to Chicago", it finds the "Delivery times" section even if the words do not match |
| Updates without retraining | When the price list changes, upload the new file, and Helper immediately answers with the current prices |
| More than 45 file formats | Documents (PDF, Word), spreadsheets (Excel, CSV), presentations, HTML, as well as audio and video. Nothing needs to be rewritten for the bot |
Zeela, our Helper
Zeela is the Helper we set up for ourselves: we connected it to the WorkZeal help center you are reading right now and gave it a name. She works as a technical support assistant and answers users' questions about working in the system.
- You ask a question in the support chat, in your own words, the way you would ask a colleague.
- Zeela looks for the answer: she finds the right section of the help center by the meaning of the question.
- She answers: briefly and to the point, with a link to the section where it is described in more detail.
| Feature | What it means |
|---|---|
| Answers only from the help center | Every answer is based on a documentation section she found, not on the model's "memory" |
| Gives a link | At the end of the answer is the address of the help center section where you can read more |
| Honestly says "I don't know" | If the answer is not in the help center, Zeela says so and suggests contacting live support |
| Speaks your language | Answers in the language the question was asked in |
| Stays on topic | Politely declines questions that are not about WorkZeal. For work-related questions, there is Lucy |
| Knows the latest help center | When the help center is updated, the answers are updated too, and the model does not need retraining |
Note
Zeela does not see your data: she will not open a client card or change a deal. Her job is to explain how to do it.
Ask Zeela a question and you will see how your Helper will answer your customers.
